How It All Started
When Wendell and Abby Hostetler moved to the Marysville area, they carried a simple dream: to create a warm, old-fashioned country store where neighbors could find honest, quality food and friendly faces. In early 2026 they took over the former Amish Heritage Country Market at 728 N Main Street and lovingly reopened its doors as Ole Tyme Market.
What began as a new chapter for their family quickly grew into a heartfelt mission to serve the community they now call home. Today our shelves are filled with premium bulk foods, pantry staples, spices, grains, candies, and everything a from-scratch baker could want. Our deli offers fresh-sliced meats, cheeses, and hearty made-to-order sandwiches prepared with care.
More than just a shop, Ole Tyme Market is a place where old-fashioned values meet everyday convenience — a true small-town gathering spot where good food and good neighbors come together every day.
